This past weekend Chris was out of town and even though we all missed him we(the kids and I) had some great company! Chris’s parents, Nana and Grandpa were in town. It was a pretty relaxing weekend, mainly because our sweet princess Taylor has not been sleeping well, so it makes for a must-have slow day. Nana and Grandpa made the weekend a bit easier for me….watching the kiddos so I could go shop, re-stocking our groceries, adding some clothes to the kids closets, Nana doing the dishes EVERY day, helping with laundry, treating me to a birthday dinner and a YUMMY red velvet cake!! Thank you Nana and Grandpa…we love you both so much!!
Caden and Taylor both love their snuggle time with Nana, only she can get them to sit still for over an hour, her secret…..rubbing their back!!
My brother, Charlie and his wife Magdalena stopped by on their long drive from Austin to NY. It was so great to visit with them for a bit and Caden and Taylor LOVE their Aunt and Uncle. As soon as they walked in the door a “let’s chase Caden game” began! Lot’s of tickling and hide and seek filled the night!
Think Caden did something silly when I was taking this photo, hence Magdalena’s face! ![]()

Shelley, Moses and Abraham also joined us, Stephen was on the business trip with Chris. It was so good to have a full house, I love company. I caught this cute pic of Abe and Shelley! precious!!
Not sure what to think about turning the big 3-0, but this past weekend made it worth it, well expect for the baby girl keeping me up at all hours! I will turn 30 all over again if it means I get one great weekend my mom and then the next weekend is spent with my in laws! Lucky to have a great family!
